Myself, my sister Langa and my dear friend Ndoni
At my cousin's Memulo(a traditional African ceremony,almost equivelant to a 21st)
*The world had World Aids day yesterday..1 December 2009. And i felt that i could not believe that such a simple disease, could take the lives of so many..Simply in that, more than anything, this disease tests our behaviour, moral and logic. I strongly believe the spread of HIV/Aids is not because of ignorance, but rather a lack of wanting to change ones habits..this obviously does not count those who are married, been raped or born positive. But rather the majority cases those who choose to kill themselves, for a few minutes of pleasure..*sigh*
I say this in a harsh manner as my province of Birth Kwazulu-Natal..has THE HIGHEST HIV/AIDS IN THE WORLD! So for me to not be frustrated..would be a lie..as i have seen so many pass by..from an act that gives a few minutes of pleasure.
And from all those that i knew died...they did not want to do what was right for them..point blank.. As a province, country, continent and world..YOU CAN'T ALWAYS PLAY VICTIM..
YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF THE QUESTION OF WHAT SEPERATES YOU, FROM THOSE WHO HAVE NOT CONTRACTED THE DISEASE, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE RIGHT...AND THEN YOU'LL FIND THE ANSWER..
Although there's a huge generalisation in my statement..many will know where i am coming from..we need to change the way we are living morally..and take responsibilty for our actions..
X
*!LOVE YOU ALL!*
YOUR LIFE IS TOO PRECIOUS
God bless.
